Forty Hours Devotion and Eucharistic Adoration at St. Peter's Catholic Church
During Lent, St. Peter's parish offers 40 consecutive hours of Eucharistic Adoration, interrupted only by daily Mass. In the evenings, the Liturgy of the Hours is prayed and an extended homily given. This year's homilist was Father Derek Sakowski, the chaplain of Pacelli High School who is in residence at St. Peter's.
