Stevens Point 150th Anniversary Parade

St. Peter's participated in a parade as part of the 150th anniversary celebration of Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Parishioner Angel Gebeau spearheaded the effort to create the St. Peter's float and organized a crew to hand out candy with a business card attached inviting the community to "come pray with us." Angel reports that all the candy and cards were handed out before even reaching Forest St. About the float itself, she said, "At last minute we had to cut down the tower 3’6” as it was too tall and would cause problems with some lower power lines to homes."
